About Nabeel

Nabeel Qureshi was raised as a devout Muslim in the United States. He was engaged in Islamic apologetics and would often have religious discussions with Christians. Eventually, Nabeel converted to Christianity.
He wrote “After studying the historical origins of the Christian faith, I came to these conclusions: that Jesus died on the cross is as certain as anything historical can be; that he rose from the dead is by far the best explanation of the events surrounding his death; and that Jesus claimed to be God is the best explanation for the immediate Christian proclamation of Jesus’ deity. Putting it all together: Jesus claimed to be God, and he proved it by rising from the dead. The case for Christianity is powerful. Despite my ardent desire to believe in Islam, I had to admit that history was in favour of Christian claims, and even more reluctantly, that it challenged Islamic teachings.”
Sadly, Nabeel passed away at the age of 34 from stomach cancer leaving behind a wife and child.

Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus

In his book “Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus,” Nabeel Qureshi describes how, as a follower of Islam, he debated many Christians on the truth claims of the Bible. Eventually, Nabeel became persuaded that Christianity was true and that becoming a Christian was his only option, considering the facts alone. Nabeel’s conversion cost him his fellowship with his family, whom he loved dearly. Nabeel did not decide to convert to Christianity lightly but based it on what he believed to be overwhelming evidence.
